This page explains, in plain language, what information our platforms collect, why we collect it, and the controls available to patients, practitioners and partner organisations.

Last updated 1 August 2026

1. Information we collect

Account information such as name, role, organisation, email address and mobile number provided when a clinic, doctor, therapist or patient is onboarded.

Clinical information entered by authorised users of AyurGrid, including consultation notes, prescriptions, therapy records and uploaded reports.

Operational information such as appointment timings, billing records, inventory movement and therapist check-in locations where the service requires it.

Technical information including device type, browser, IP address and application logs used for security, diagnostics and abuse prevention.

2. How we use information

To deliver the services requested by the clinic or organisation that holds the account, including record keeping, scheduling, billing and therapy coordination.

To send transactional notifications over app, SMS or WhatsApp, such as appointment reminders and prescription confirmations.

To provide support, investigate issues and maintain platform security and availability.

To produce aggregated and de-identified statistics that help improve product performance and clinical workflows.

3. Roles and responsibilities

For clinical records created in AyurGrid, the clinic, hospital or practitioner is the data controller and Five Line Health Care acts as the technology processor operating under their instructions.

Patients should direct requests about their clinical records to the treating clinic in the first instance; we assist clinics in fulfilling those requests.

4. Storage, retention and security

Data is hosted on cloud infrastructure located in India, with encryption in transit and at rest, restricted administrative access and audit logging of privileged actions.

Records are retained for the period required by the account holder's clinical and statutory obligations, and deleted or returned on account closure in accordance with the applicable agreement.

5. Sharing with third parties

We share information with service providers strictly as needed to operate the platform, such as cloud hosting, messaging gateways, payment processors and laboratory partners selected by the clinic.

We do not sell personal or health information, and we do not use clinical content for advertising.

6. Your choices

You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent for non-essential communications, and ask for a copy of the data associated with your account.

Write to privacy@fivelinehealthcare.com and we will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.

7. Changes to this policy

We will post any material change on this page and, where required, notify account holders directly before the change takes effect.
